    Hello
    PLEASE HELP!
I have studied the docs and looked through support forum, but cannot figure out how to setup following:

We have 2 groups to receive announcements: east and vest

We want 2 e-mail adresses to send announcements:
east@domain.com sends announcements to east users
vest@domain.com sends announcements to vest users

Those announcements shall be listed in Intranet under [frontend-pm] so all logged in users kan see all announcements and read them as well there. :
    9. august 2022 13:11
    test til Vest abonnementer

    9. august 2022 13:10
    test til Øst abonnementer

    How to do that??

Also: We do not need to send any messages, only announcements. So whenever users log on to intranet they shall see listed all announcements. Now when logged in I first have to click on messages, so I can see announcements. That might be very confusing for users.

I am very sorry for late reply. I was in a vacation.

    Answers to your questions
    1. You can create two users using those 2 email addresses. So that they can send announcement using their account. When sending announcements, select which roles users can see those announcements (you can select multiple, even all roles)
    2. You can add an argument with the shortcode to show announcements by default. use [front-end-pm fepaction="announcements"]

Thank you so much for response! Got it concerning the [front-end-pm fepaction=”announcements”]
just.. I just don’t get the part how to setup those 2 e-mails to update the WP system.

    So, lets take this example:
I have e-mail vest@domain.com and group of users assigned to vest announcements
I have e-mail east@domain.com and group of those users assigned to east announcements.

Now admin logs into webmail and sends announcement via e-mail vest@domain.com and then from webmail east@domain.com
    to east.

So what do I need to setup in backend WP to update the announcement overview with shorttag [front-end-pm fepaction=”announcements”] ?

webmail does not know how to send to WP and in FrontEndPM Pro settings e-mails I only find possibility to set up one sending e-mail. My settings now are following, see attachment.
    Cheers from Jeannine

You do not need to log into webmail and send email. Instead create 2 wp users using those 2 email address and follow https://www.shamimsplugins.com/docs/front-end-pm/getting-started/add-announcement/

Thank you for your reply. But where do I ad the code, you provided? And the problem is that the admin actually wants to send announcements with webmail. He does not want to login wordpress.

As this is a wordpress plugin, focus is to use inside wordpress. We cannot handle announcement from webmail.

You do not need to add code if you do not want any customization. By default it works for administrator. If you set those 2 users as administrator then you will not need to add that code.
