Hi,
We use Front end pm Pro plugin but now the email notifications doesn’t send. I have checked everything but can’t figure out why the mails aren’t sending anymore. Can you help me?
The website can send emails; i have tested this by clicking on forgot password.I hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,

Please check https://www.shamimsplugins.com/docs/front-end-pm-pro/troubleshoot/email-notification-not-receiving/
Also please check if there any error in your server log.Let me know.
August 24, 2018 at 2:01 pm #16629Sanne HuntinkParticipantHi,
Yes it was sending emails before. The thing that has changed is we have set the website live. So the URL has changed and the website was moved from one server to another. And we have installed an SSL certificate (http > https). If you are referring to if I use the e-mail setup within the plugin and have changed some text in that than yes, I am using custom email templates.
And I have walked through the troubleshoot, stil doesn’t work:
1. Go to Front-end settings page of messages and see if “Email me when I get new messages?” checked > Checked
2. Check if normal email can send from your website (eg. register, lost password email etc). > WordPress has send me an password lost email
3. If you use any SMTP plugin, see your SMTP plugin setup and Dashboard > Front End PM PRO > Emails > From Email is same. > I don’t use an SMTP plugin but in the settings of Front end pro are set the same domain
If you do not use any SMTP plugin, please check if Dashboard > Front End PM PRO > Emails > From Email is same domain email. Eg. if your website is example.com then from email will be name@example.com. Also please check if your email exists. If not create that email address.
4. Go to Dashboard > Front End PM PRO > Emails and check all the fields are filled. Eg. Message subject, Message content. > All fields are filled
5. Check your Junk/Spam folder also if your email notification ended in there. > Checked, no emails there eitherThis is what the error log says:

August 24, 2018 at 8:06 pm #16640Shamim HasanKeymasterFor custom email template i meant https://www.shamimsplugins.com/docs/front-end-pm-pro/customization-front-end-pm-pro/create-own-email-template/
In No-3: Is that email address registered? Can you try installing any SMTP plugin?
August 27, 2018 at 7:32 pm #16865Sanne HuntinkParticipantHi,
No I didn’t use an custom email template.
The email address is registered. They also receive and send mails from that account. Now another issue. I’ve updated the plugin and now I can’t make any new announcements. In the past there were a button where you can make an new announcement. How do I make an new announcement now?
Attachments:You must be logged in to view attached files.August 27, 2018 at 7:45 pm #16868Shamim HasanKeymasterAs this is front-end pm, most of the features are created for front-end. Now you can add announcement from front-end. First go to Front End PM PRO > Settings > Security > Can permitted users add Announcement from front end?, check this. Now you will see a new button in front-end to add announcement.
For email issue, do you have development site? can i have access to your website to debug?
August 27, 2018 at 8:08 pm #16876Sanne HuntinkParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.August 27, 2018 at 8:23 pm #16880Shamim HasanKeymasterI have added in changelog that it is a breaking changes update. Also version is 8.4.1 to 10.1.1 which is major update (read more in https://semver.org/ for versioning). So it is obvious that it contain big changes.
Please use https://www.shamimsplugins.com/sensitive-information/ to send your credentials. I will add a new test user using my email address so that i can check if i receive email, is that ok?
August 27, 2018 at 8:33 pm #16883Sanne HuntinkParticipantHi,
Okay I haven’t read that indeed. I only saw the plugin update in the plugin panel in WP, another thing learned.
I’ve sended you the credentials. You can add an new test user with your own mail address.August 27, 2018 at 9:00 pm #16887Shamim HasanKeymasterWhen i went to lost password (for test email sending) i am getting error (see screenshot). So it seems there is issue with your server for sending email. Please contact your host.
Let me know.

August 28, 2018 at 12:37 pm #16919Sanne HuntinkParticipantAh thank you, that helped out a lot! I will contact the host.
I have installed an SMTP plugin, but we haven’t had the mailserver under our controle so I have made an request there to get the SMTP username and password.Thank you!
August 28, 2018 at 7:01 pm #16936Sanne HuntinkParticipantHello,
I’ve contacted the host but they say that the problem doesn’t lay in the host/DNS settings.
We have installed an SMTP plugin and tried sending another announcement through Front End PM Pro but it still doesn’t send the notification emails. We also have tested the website by filling out an contact form which is placed on the website (Contact Form 7 plugin – by Takayuki Miyoshi) and that will send out an notification email.
We also have installed an plugin that looks if the website can send emails (Check Email plugin – by Chris Taylor) and the test emails are coming in and no errors are appearing in the debug log.
So it looks like the website can send emails but there is another issue but I can’t figure out what. Can you help me please?
August 28, 2018 at 7:19 pm #16939Sanne HuntinkParticipantOh and I have deactivated plugins that were installed since the notifications stopped working. No change.
And I have installed an plugin that checks on conflicts in the website (for example conflicts between plugins).
No conflict there either.August 28, 2018 at 8:59 pm #16947Shamim HasanKeymasterI can access to your website again to debug. Is that ok?
