Is there a way to suppress the gray screen?
SteveMTNOParticipantHere the list of events, in order:
– click reply (or send)
– “Processing” message appears
– “Message Successfully Sent” message appears
– Gray screen appearsThere are maybe 2-3 seconds between each step…
SteveMTNOParticipantIt’s not gray for very long, but it’s annoying that it does it at all. It occurs after the green “Message successfully sent.” message is displayed (not before, as I stated earlier)
I tried getting a screen grab, but it wouldn’t work for some reason.
Is there another way to troubleshoot this?
SteveMTNOParticipantNot sure what you’re asking…
SteveMTNOParticipantaccording to the FEP Pro page, the plugin hasn’t been updated since 2022-12-24….

I have a message from a user that was sent to me (I’m the site admin) and below the message it says “You do not have permission to send reply to this message!”
Tried adding myself to the whitelist as mentioned above (which dioesn’t make sense to me, but I did it anyway) and got the same result.
Please help… thanks!

SteveMTNOParticipantthanks, worked great!
January 12, 2020 at 11:10 pm in reply to: several issues after upgrading my version of FEP Pro #33167SteveMTNOParticipantI’m still seeing the problem…
I just added the following CSS (thru Customize):
#fep-content-single-sidebar {
display: none;
}#fep-wrapper {
background: none;
}That got things looking he way I originally had them. I tried removing the CSS that you added (via the plugin) and that introduced new problems that I hadn’t seen before, so I left it alone.
As of right now, everything seems to be working and looking correctly.
Thanks for your help!

I’d rather not give out real user credentials if I don’t need to.
SteveMTNOParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.SteveMTNOParticipantI copied the parent header.php to the child theme. We’re definitely making progress.
I’m able to create and send new messages now, but the avatar issue when you go into an existing message is still there. They display properly when you’re in the message box, but when you go to a single message, you still see all of the avatars from the other messages, and they are misaligned too.
Let me know if you need me to send you a screengrab of this.
thanks,
Steve
